About Us

BUG began in 2007 when Jack Lawson and Earl Mullins met through a bulletin board about Hawaiian music (www.taropatch.net). Since there was no active ukulele group in Boise at the time, they decided to fill the void and start one. The first BUG group was held in January 2008. Jack has since retired and moved away, but BUG carries on.

BUG now has over 40 members and meets four times a month. We hope you’ll come join the fun! You’ll find information about our jams on our Meetings page.
